Today’s phrase is “acceptable risk.”  STD transmission rates are pretty low (especially in the developed world) when it comes to oral sex on the giving end, and even lower on the receiving end. I’m not sure what you’re sexual history is other than you’ve never had vaginal intercourse, so I would suggest that you let your new fella know that sexual health is important to you and the two of you go down to your GP to get tested. Make sure to let him know as well that if his results do come back with something on it, that it’s not a big deal. Most things can be fixed with antibiotics.
